Building Web Applications, Level 2 is an instructor-led training (ILT) or self-paced study course designed for users of the Alpha Five v9 (and version 8) software package who wish to learn how to take their web application development to the next level. This course goes beyond the fundamentals of database designing for the Web. Topics include advanced web security such as importing and exporting user information, importing data from the server, create user registration dialogs for adding new and editing existing users. Topics also include filtering data in components at design, with a link control, and using arguments as well as including web pages in other web pages (using “Includes”), handling values sent to a page, Xbasic on the web, creating a code library, modifying pages at runtime, working with freeform regions, building pages without components (hand-coded pages), using Alpha Five AJAX, creating AJAX enabled web pages, using JavaScript libraries, and building callback pages.
